peace from gaza

When this article was written, it had been pretty quiet on the Gazan front.

To celebrate the recent visit of President Obama to Israel, somebody lobbed a few rockets into Israel from Gaza.

And in the past few days, some more rockets have been fired.  So it seems the few months of relative quiet has ended.

It is always nice to know what people think of you.  At the same time as Israel is being pressured into making peace with the Palestinians, the proud women of Gaza are shooting at cardboard cut-outs of former Israeli PM Ariel Sharon.

Classy move.

This is not considered an obstacle to peace.  Yet whatever Israel does, or doesn’t do, is an unacceptable obstacle to peace.
